Chabot Marlins Swim Team

2010 EBSL North Division Dual Meet Champions!

Do you want to have fun and challenge yourself on one of the East Bay’s most successful summer swim league programs?  Come join the 2012 Chabot Marlins Swim Team!  Our swim team is comprised of recreational swimmers of all abilities from age 5 to 18.  The swim team is a great experience for your entire family.

The Chabot Marlins 2012 swim season begins April 2nd and ends July 29th.  After-school practice begins on April 2nd.  Our summer morning practices begin after the end of the school year and continue through the end of the swim season.  Dual meets are held each Saturday morning from June 2nd through July 21st.  The Championship Meet will be held on July 28th, 2012.

 

The Chabot Marlins are currently looking to hire an assistant swim coach for the 2012 swim season.
This position is to specifically coach the team's 8 & under age groups, as well as serve in a supportive coaching role for the Marlins swim team.

We are looking for an energetic, patient, knowledgeable, and experienced swim teacher / coach to help lead are youngest Marlins swimmers.

2011 Registration Fees for Chabot Swim Club Members*

1 swimmer = $215

2 swimmers = $390

3 swimmers = $565

*swimmers who swim for a high school swim team = $25 discount.

 

2011 Registration Fees for 15-18 age non-Club Members add $100 to fees above

 

What to include with registration:

Two blank checks (Registration Fee & $50 Volunteer Deposit)

Two copies of the swimmers birth certificate.

 

Volunteer Policy: 

We require parents to volunteer at weekly swim meet, at social events, and serve on support teams throughout the season.  Detailed information and sign-ups will be available at registration.

If your child is unable to participate in four dual swim meets during 2011, he/she will be unable to qualify (per league rules) to swim at Champs.  Please let Coach Ben Brookens know as soon as possible if your child will be unable to swim in three meets or unable to swim at Champs.

 

Team Suit Information:

All new swimmers are required to order their team suit during the first week of practice.  There will be sample try-on suits to help determine sizing.  Returning swimmers can use the same suits again this year.
